I purchased a '94 2WD E4OD trans for the 'M' block motor in my '53 F100. The trans didn't have a tail housing, so I purchased a tail housing on Ebay with a speedometer hole.
When I try to install the tail housing, it hits the large reluctance wheel on the output shaft.
The transmission case casting # is RF-F0TP-70C6-AB.
The tail Housing is RF-E9TP-70C6-CB.
Do I need a different Tail Housing?
Or do I need a different Speedometer Gear?
Or do I need a different Output Shaft?
I can use either a VSS or driven gear for the speedometer in my truck.
