My newphew rolled over my lifted f350 crewcab. The truck is totaled but the engin and trans are still good. the engin has only 127000 on it and I was hoping someone can give me a idea what the engin is worth so I can try to get some thing out of it. I will post some pics soon.
So sorry to hear this. So you say your nephew is in "protective" custody? I'd hate to be him when he gets out. I'd say he and your brother/sister owe you big time. I hope they make it right.
That REALLY sucks! Sorry to hear. Hopefully you have good insurance...
I would say the same is true in this area. $1200-$1500 is about what you would expect to pay for an engine in good condition with that kind of mileage.
.... Oh, of the truck! Or of the engine, maybe....
(Actually, I'd be curious as to how the cab roof held up to the rollover; that's one safety question that's been nagging us ever since we bought the two trucks....)
You prob. already plan on this, but keep it installed. "Can hear run" in an engine-for-sale ad is a BIG plus.

Yah, take some pictures of the roof please. It'd be interesting to see how the roof stands up to an 7800LBS truck.
Sorry to hear your truck is totaled. Have you thought about buying a higher mileage truck that you could get cheap, maybe needs a little TLC, and you could use your engine and drive train to build another truck.
