Injector Problem?
Since then, the truck starts perfect as always, and runs nice while warming up,. but as soon as it goes into gear, it runs rough - again as if it's consistently missing. It gets better the less the engine is loaded (runs VERY rough when in OD and cruising about 60-65.)
When I check fault log, I get my usual 0401 (which I am rather confident is due to sensor since I've replaced the valve and it still comes on randomly when there is EGR demand) and a grey code citing cyl5 misfire count.
ICM is rather consistent between 47.5 and 48.5v, with trip over trip averages at 47.93v over the three logs I looked at (from the ECM through Torque.)
Am I correct in figuring it's my cyl5 injector? How else can I test? If I do go working on that (I think I will do it myself, I figure that I can get it done in about 4 hrs being my first time screwing with the injectors) what else should I do at that time?
All Advice is appreciated.
More details:
Engine oil / filter has approx 66 hours (~3000mi) on it, and looks good quality for that many hours.
Transmission oil looks surprisingly clean, has at least 35k mi (how many miles I've put on it in the year I've owned it) - not sure when was last changed, but will change it in the next few months.
Fuel filter has about 166 hours (~7500mi) and will be changed with oil in 34 hrs.
Haven't checked fuel pressure yet - will try to get to that this week before trying injector this weekend.
