I was just on Ford's web site, test building a new F150. I came across something that I found puzzling. There are two bed extenders listed.

Bed Extender - $365

Stowable Bed Extender - $250

Anybody know what the real difference in the two is?

 

I think that the top one is probably the rigid horseshoe aluminum tube model and the bottom one is the two-part folding plastic one that tucks in behind the wheel wells when not in use.

 

Wow...I am wondering the same thing...If the plastic one is $250.00 I'm gonna' buy two and put it one on eBay....Those things are pricey....
