Christmas list
I am going to leave to vacation here in a week but once i get back i shall begin my first f250 IDI build and would love for everyone to tune in. Its a 5 speed 2 wheel drive with 3.55 gears in the rear. And for some reason the rear tires are bald...
Here is my christmas list/to do list
Some time in this trucks life of the build i want to rework the filtration system of this engine including the oil and fuel also. Which company has a good set up for those? Ive seen some double filter kits before.
There will be more to come... With time
Here is my christmas list/to do list
- Rebuild my rear end. It is a 10.25 i believe.
- Buy a pyro meter, amperage gauge, oil temp gauge, and a oil pressure gauge. Do i need the 0-40 or 0-100? I have yet to find a 0-60 anywere which is what i think i would need. And id like to have a fuel pressure gauge in the cab also! But i wasnt sure that this was safe. Sounds illegal and unsafe but im not sure.
- Find a shop to coat my stock rims gloss black and go coverless on all 4 corners.
- Change all the fluids (engine, tranny, and rear end)
- Start some plans on my front and rear bumpers i will be making myself.
- And last on the list is to begin my custom intake to help burn my extra fuel i will be running. (2 flats until turbo)

i would ditch the amp gauge and get a water temp gauge instead.
i have a 0-100psi oil pressure gauge and i don't have any issues with it as far as reading it.
You can get an electric fuel pressure gauge, that way you don't have to worry about running fuel into the cab. same thing for the oil pressure gauge.
i know amsoil makes oil filter by pass kits. you could do a custom e-fuel set up or spend big money for one of the really nice name brand systems.
