just a lil' heads up if you are under the hood fixin' stuff...I was fixin' a minor fuel leak last week...after the repair I started to notice a coolant smell...did a quick look over the water pump and saw a bit of cooland on the top of the waterpump...then I saw my leak!!!
it was the heater hose that runs over the top of the alternator....I had inadvertently bent the bracket that routes the hose down and the hose was resting on two pulleys...alt pulley gave it a flat spot...idler gave it a nice slice...gotta love simple fixes!!!
