New Frame?

Just curious, and maybe a more knowledgable Ford guy can awnser this for me. Will a frame from a newer truck, say 2000 or newer, fit under a 1979 truck? Or would there need to be major modifications in order to get the two trucks to fit together?

Major modifications?.....yes!
Just about anything is possible, but unless you have very good fabrication skills (and a pretty good budget) this would be a project best left to others.

If it is made out of metal, it can be fixed.
