Jim, you guys have Crown Royal down there?????????!!!!!!!!!!

I thought that was only a Canadian thing. Any time I've been to the States and asked for a Rye (Crown Royal is THE BEST rye whiskey) and Coke or a Rye and Ginger I get blank stares. You usually have to ask for a "Canadian Whiskey" and then you usually get some crappy Canadian Club if they have rye at all. I don't think I've ever even seen Crown Royal in a liquor store down there.

I got the same stares, originally being from Southern Alberta. Nobody had even heard of Rye and Coke. Learned real quick to ask for Jack and Coke.

 

Here in the US it's a "Crown and Coke" Yes we drink buckets of Crown. It's not just a Canadian thing.
At least that's how it went the night before last

 

MMM! It was a scotch weekend.. Lots and lots of Chivas..

I dunno, I'd prob put a local newspaper, an empty 12 pack, a few CDs, and a few truck parts..

 

Of course we do man..Yes it is made in Canada and is sold by Seagram & Son who also makes Seagram's Gin.
But yes we have lots of Crown Royal in Mississippi,I allways thought they sold it all over the USA

Many ways i have drank it or seen it drank is as follows
CR w/ Coke
CR w/ Diet Rite
CR w/ Water
CR straight
CR on a cold cold day or on a hot hot day under the AC lol

How can you guys ruin crown with coke? If you want a ckoke drink try some good ole southern sour mash. Crown is for sippin, by its self.

 

Nothing but Wild Turkey 101 for me, anything else just doesn't taste right!

 

Crown Royal straight up. I forget who it was right now, but I have always followed their words 'Do not drink anything that is named after an animal'.

My cousin owns a Liquor store here and the top sellers in Shelby Mississippi are

Crown Royal,E&J,Jack Daniels,10 year old or 8 year old, Old Charter......

 

Yeah Seagrams has the big 3. "Seagrams 7" is aged 7 years. "V.O." is aged 10 and I think Crown is 15 years Anyway I drink them all but I love the import from our southern neighbors more

 

I don't drink whiskey. I have a IV tree to hang the bottle off of then it's a steady stream straight into my blood. I took the beer bong to the next level.
