truck diagnostics
I am trying to accurately evaluate my truck. I am taking it to a diesel shop I trust and have them run diagnostics on the truck. What tests would tell me the most about the truck. I routinely pull a heavy horse trailer and take 2 to 3 longer trips 700 to 1000 miles one way. I am a cancer patient and can not wrench much anymore. I recently broke down in 102 degree heat on I/70 with 2 horses and it was the cps wire rubbing on the pulley, cutting it. I know that was a fluke, but that is also the first time this truck ever laid down. I am a fanatical PITA on maintenance and fixing anything I can think of, but I also realize this truck is 13 years old with almost 200k. All advice appreciated.

Perhaps you could post your location, and someone here on the site would be able to run your test..

Yeah, Pat is right. A lot of guys here will gladly come over and help others wrench of fix strange issues.
