guage question

I have dolphin guages in my 66 f100 and they are all good except the gas guage reads backwards and it only reads until about a half a tank left. I have almost run out of gas once and this morning i completely ran out. I want to get this fixed. Help please!

That is due to the Dolphin requiring GM sender.

Oh never mind i see, is there an easy fix or would it be easier to use a different brand guage?

99.99999 percent of aftermarket gauges require a GM sender, You may be able to adapt up something from a 60s GM truck.

Check with Dolphin as to a solution.

In 66/67 GM changed from a 30 ohm to a 90 ohm sender (or vice verse, can't remember).
