Flatbed Wiring
Hello. Looking for a little advice on some wiring.
Got a bed to put on a f350. The owners on the bed butchered the harness so I had to install new lights and run a new harness.
There are 8 clearance (corner) lights and a 3 bulb ID light for a total of 11 bulbs. They are just single purpose lights, non-flashing.
What I'm concerned about is that the wire on the end of the f350 seems to only be like 16 or 18 gauge. Is that thick enough to run that many lights.
Was going to splice into the rear lights but that looks even smaller. So might have to go into the trailer wires.
