New Pictures
Well I bit the bullet and got me some new tires. After a lot of research and reading a lot of review I ended up with the Goodyear Duratracs. I stayed with the stock size, 275/70/18. The next size in this tire was to big without a lift, about 1.2 inches larger in diameter.
They are a very nice riding tire, low noise, quieter then my Michelin's, and a nice soft feel to them.
Here are some Pictures:
This is my son playing with the old tires as he was bored waiting around, he is 8 years old so you can see how big these tires really are.

I think you'll like them - I just put a set on my 2005 last year (265/70/17) and like them a lot. They replaced a worn out set of the BFG Rugged Trails, and while they're noisier than those, I don't think it's at all excessive. Excellent traction in snow/ice as well as sand. Haven't had enough rain since I've got them to be able to try any mud but I think they'll do great there as well.
I will give you one warning - if you drive on any rock roads or parking lots or anything, the deep wide tread likes to grab rocks and then propel them at the body once you start rolling on pavement. Usually get some notice though, you can hear it if you have a rock stuck in the tread on the pavement.
