Just a question where did you get the HID's from? They sure look great and much better than PIAA's. Where they hard to install? Did you have to get a special High low Bulb?
My brother I'm law picked them up for me. Their not too bad to install. The low beams had to be spliced in but the fogs were plug and play. Hardest part was figuring where to mount the balasts. I did away with high beams because of needing dual bulbs and between the lows and fogs, no reason for high beams.
+1
I have a set of DDM's on both headlamps and fogs. No issues other than one lamp going out occasionally due to a flakey connector. After reseating it, I haven't had any issues for the past 2yrs.
I have my ballasts tie-wrapped to the existing harnesses since I couldn't find a more convenient place to mount them without drilling any holes.
Does anyone know how to mod the headlamp circuitry so the fogs don't shut off when the high beams are on?
You should have visited www.ddmtuning.com Their sets are plug and play for the headlights and do high and low beam. Lifetime warranty and cheap.
Got the same kits, only not as much as DDM. Not concerned about having to tap into the wiring harness. If i ever go back to stock, i can just remove the HID ballast.
