Ect question

I did a coolant flush at the dealrship a month ago. Since then I bought the edge insight and a coolant filter setup. I have been noticing my ect runs around 204 to 208 sometimes 212. This morning I went on a 100 mile run and my ect would get to 200 then drop down to 190 then 200 then drop again. On my way back home my ect ran 204 up to 212. When it got to 212 it would drop but only to 208. Why wouldn't it drop to 190? Like it did his morning? Do I have a bad termastat?

I would change it, about $25 + about 2 gallons of coolant, when mine was bad, it would never close! So i was mostly running cold around 170f

Looks like I will change it this weekend. I just wished the dealership tech would of ask if I wanted to change it while he did the flush. Live and learn I guess. Thanks curt

Iv reused my coolant everytime I changed thermostat

Just drain a couple gal into clean Bucket and if you want filter it before it goes back in
