6.0 Turbo problems

So, I drive this truck on a regular basis and it has been working just fine. Today I changed the oil, power washed the front of the truck and the engine compartment. I just went to drive the truck and when I got on the highway the turbo would not work at all. I checked the oil and it was on the min mark so I added oil and I removed my programmer to see if maybe there was a wire problem there. So when I step on it the turbo will not spool up and then it finally kicks on very slowly when I hit about 40 and it will not go higher than 10psi. Has anyone had this problem before and if so what do I do. I need the truck to go camping tomorrow.

I also just cleaned my EGR valve and that did not fix anything. I really need help on this one.

make shure its plugged in, check for codes. The turbo vein actuator could be bad.

Check your air filter to see if you power washed it by mistake it might have gotten wet

Do you have a scan gauge II so you can monitor your VGT duty cycle? Your veins might be stuck.

Sometimes the KAM memory can become corrupted and you just need to fallow the turbo relearn process in the tech folder.

You don't need to short out the +- cables. Just disconnect the + cables with the lights on and let if sit for 10 minutes.

IMHO I would rather unhook both negative cables, that way there isn't any danger of practicing any MacGuyver welding!
