I just finished putting a flat bed on my pig now I need to wire it up. I have 2 connectors at the rear.
PLUG 1 IS BIGGER 5 WIRE
Orange/Light Blue = Left Directional/Brake Light
Light Green/Orange = Right Directional/Brake Light
Black/Pink = Back Up Light
Brown = Running Lights/Plate Light
BLACK=GROUND
plug 1 is all you need for your lights. i'm not sure about plug 2, but likely its for trailer brake wiring or something - if yes it might have battery power, power from the brake controller (if installed), and maybe a heavier ground or something. in any case, its not needed for your use
Makes since to me. It does have the tow package wiring. I am running new wire for a brake controller so like you said I will just ignore the small plug. thanks
There should be a square 4 wire plug for the tail lights, L turn, R turn, Tail, and ground. It should be at the drivers side frame rail. The two plugs you describe are for the trailer tow package. The smaller plug will have a battery charge wire for the trailer, and a electric trailer brake feed. I dont recall what the other wire is for.
