upgrading front solid bench

So I have came across a set of manual capt chairs with the center console! I have a solid bench. The only downfall is the seatbelts, mine are roofmount and the capt chairs a seat mounted belts!! Are all the mounting points there to do this swap? I have all the hardware but have not looked under the rubber to see!! Thanks for the help

I would imagine the cab is fairly universal to accomodate the different schemes while it rolls down the assembly line.

I had a 2005 XL with the door/cab mounted seat belts and preferred those over my current 2006 XLT seat mounted belts. The XLT belts just don't fell quite right... dunno just nit picking really.

I realise the seatbelt thing is not ideal, I am going to have to live with the hole in the headliner after I remove the old seatbelt mount! But I have been looking to upgrade for a long time! Im getting a great deal on these capt chairs so I am willing to make them work!!

Isn't it actually possible to keep both?

I was faced with the same issue and lucky me, I found a set of 2000 lariat seats that I could use my existing seat belts with. Since the belts are mounted in the seat for your buckets you could easily remove the seatbelt from the headliner. if there is a round hole I am sure that some upholstery shops can make a little "plug" to fill the hole.

On my 99 the shoulder belts are on the b piller and are manually adjustable up and down.

Thats a great idea, im sure It wont bother me that much, having a hole there as its not going to be infront of my face the whole time, but I would like to have it done right!! will have the seats tomorow afternoon so will likely give it a go then! Were all the mounting holes there when you dug into it???
