Lift decisions..
I have a 2011 SD with 2.5 lift and 305/70/17 tires. (which comes out to about 34" per Nittos website) I want to get a 6" lift in the next 6 months or so, but my tires are pretty new. Probably less than 7,000 miles, so not ready for new ones. I will probably go with Trail grapplers next time, in 35. I am not someone who needs to stuff the biggest tire possible, and would be happy with 35. But do you think it would look silly running the terra grapplers in "34" with a 6" lift for a few years until the Terra's wear out? I am afraid they are going to look tiny.
and as a counterpart question, what is an inexpensive, yet quality lift? I know people will say, you didnt spend XXXX on your truck to get a cheap lift, I am not talking "cheap" I am talking inexpensive. Something that will do the job, and not cause more harm then good. I do not do any extreme offroading, so I dont need any $2,000+ lifts. I have seen 6" for around $800 from Tough country and all that, are they junk? I had planned on getting better shocks anyway, either Bill's or Ranch' 9000 so im not worried about that, I am just worried about things such as stacking big blocks in the rear. So could I get away with about $1000 for a decent lift?
and any 2011's with a 4 or 6 lift and 35's please post em up! We all know you love showin them off anyway
