I am compelled to ask.......where are Epicowlick & Rickatic ???? WHile I sit on the sidelines most of the time, I value Epic's & Rickatics input always and was wondering where they went????
Elders? There are quite a few active forum members here who have had the 6.7 from the beginning. If you are looking for someone I suggest a PM or email.
You use the term "Elders", so I figured I'd point something out. There are lots of us who have been around here for years who post on the 6.7L forum. In fact there are three moderators who either currently own or have owned 6.7L trucks who post in this forum.
I understand why Rick is no longer as exuberant as he once was, but he's still around here and posts from time to time. Epic's absence is sort of conspicuous though, as is the absence of a few other longtime 6.7L members.

Elder...doesn't that mean old?
I logged in today for the first time since July 8th. Nothing new to report either... the truck still plays peek-a-boo with the CEL...on...off...on...off but it runs as well as ever. We just returned from a 10 day trip to Oshkosh for the big airshow... we had a blast...

Hey Rick!
We are moving to Spokane, Washington. Had joe t's for lunch today and talked about you.
You still buying the new gmc when it comes out?
54,000 miles here and in pure bliss, still.
I'm pulling a 10,000 Lb plus enclosed trailer 25' to Spokane and back next week. Then coming back to get the airstream.

OK, it's sort of off topic but that is one great air show. My uncle was an air traffic controller at Oshkosh in the 80's and I got to go up in the tower once. I was there when the Qantas 747 buzzed the field years ago (awesome even if the captain did get in serious trouble). I went for years but now it's been years since I've been there so I need to go next year. That's a must see air show. Glad to hear you had a blast.

I too have noticed their absence, along with a few other used-to-be regulars.
They're probably out enjoying their trucks, while we're just talking about ours.

The Reno Air Race is on the list...maybe 2013
Oshkosh is Mecca to most aviation fans. It is a seven day air show extravaganza with a great aviation festival thrown in to boot. Besides the unbelievable aerobatic flip flop acts and the war bird reviews, there are thousands of airplanes to view, hundreds of vendors showing the latest and best of aviation hardware and nightly entertainment for all. This year the show was opened by the Steve Miller Band. During the week there were small venue concerts performed by Little Texas and Phil Vassar. Outdoor movies are shown every night at the Fly In Theater. This year, Red Tails, Mission Impossible-Ghost Protocol and Star Trek were a few of the films.
...all that for about $15 a day
Great time...glad my truck made it there and back...
