Part number help - ND?
Just found out my copy of the 64-72 Truck parts book is missing the 1st 5 pages of the auto trans section, so 7A011 is not on the pages I still have.
What transmissions does it fit 1964 & later & what size trucks?
Also, have a speedo gear that's in a C0DD box, but that gear is supposed to be a 16 tooth (wine), while what's in the box has 21teeth one end, 12spline on the other end (I assume you go by the slanted teeth?). It's red (more or less), and the only reddish type color 21tooth gear I can find is C4OZ? Am I on the right track?
Of the 3 Ford trucks I had for the last 30 years, they've been so bulletproof that I've never had to do any work on any speedometer or transmission, so haven't a clue what a Ford gear is actually supposed to look like. Unlike all the GM cars I've had that I'm intimately familiar with speedometer gears and the like...

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
but only 3/4T and larger.
Also fits C6 from 1968 - 1972. Last year/application for F-O-M: 1961 F100 223 = B9AP-7A011-A not B3TZ-7A011-A / All other 1961/64 F100/250's came with FX (aka small Cruise-O) C-O-M / No FX's after 1964.
C6 not available in F100/350's (360/390) until 1968.

Look in the specific A/T trans parts lists for 7A011: A70.2 (C-O-M) / A70.3 (C4) / A70.4 (C6).

Clip end up/trans end down. Which way do the teeth slant? //// or \\\\
MX C-O-M (aka big Cruise-O): 1965/67 F100/350 352 & 1965/72 F350 300 I-6.
FMX: 1973/77 F350 300 I-6 (only Ford truck to use FMX, otherwise Passenger Cars only).
C6: 1968/76 F100/350 360/390 / 1973/79 F100/350 460 / 1977/79 F100/350 351M/400 / Some 1978/79 F100/150 300 I-6 & 302 / Some 1978/79 F250 300 I-6.
C4: 1965/74 F100/250 240/300 I-6 & F350 240 I-6 / 1969/77, some 1978/79 F100 302 / 1975/77, some 1978/79 F150 302 / 1975/77, some 1978/79 F100/250 300 I-6.
C6 introduced for 300 I-6 & 302 in 1978, but not all came with it.
Thanks so much for the help. I have several of these seals, and since I don't have a 1973-1979 Truck Parts book, didn't have any idea at all on applications past 1972. I did find those sections in the Ford Parts book you mentioned in the last reply, and found the info for 65-72. I had mostly wanted to know if I should keep one on hand in case my F250 Supercab should need one in the future. It appears from the list you provided that it probably does take this seal. Of course, I could have just crawled under the truck to have a look-see, but that's too much like real work.

As to the speedo gear, tooth slant in that position is ////. I see that the C4OZ fits a multitude of applications from about 1964 at least through 1979, but mostly for cars. Provided, of course, that I'm not barking up the wrong tree with assuming that number.
Thanks again.
