So I installed a new horn relay. It clicks when I push on horn button. So I figured it was the Hi-Lo horns themselves. So I figured I'd just replace them but I still cant get any noise to come out. What am I doing wrong??
Looking for a pair if anyone has them. Pm me if you have a spare pair. Thanks
Take the horns off. ground the mount bracket to the neg post and connect a jumper wire to the horn and the positive post. Horn should blow. If not replace it. Clicking relay is a good sign but you still need 12v to the horn. Put a meter on the relay 12v in, push the button relay clicks, 12v out. Sometimes it helps to run a ground wire from the core support to the frame and another from the engine block to the frame.

Thanks for reply. Was just goofing around. (radio speaker will not replace horn)I did connect horns direct to batt. with no luck. Was just hoping someone had a working pair I could purchase. Bad joke.
G' day NumberDummy,

Do You know if The "Centre Console" as fitted to The 1965/66 Ford F100/250 "Ranger" Pick Ups are Exactly The Same-Identical to Any Other Model "Centre Console?"
It's not considered polite to hijack another members thread. You should type your own threads when you ask questions.
All the center console parts are the same as 1963/65 Falcon Sprint, except the plastic console body itself is Ranger only. Floor pan tunnel is a different shape Falcon vs Ranger (F100/250 2WD).
The cutouts at the front/rear of the console that mount atop the tunnel is the only difference. Some of these "Falcon" parts are reproduced, available from dearbornclassics.com in Bend Oregon.
Dearborn sells Ford/Merc Passenger Car/Ranchero parts only, but some of these parts are the same as trucks. Dearborn makes no mention, so truck owners have to be aware of what fits what.
Mounting bracket came with new B8AZ horns only, not sold by itself. If peeps needed just the bracket, they either had to buy the horn, or go to a boneyard for a user.
Are the mounting brackets all the same from 1958/82?
That was my concern also. I didn't want to drill off the old brackets and re-install on new. I think my horns have mud-wasp nest up inside. Hoping to flush them out but no luck yet.
