Just changed the filter and I change the oil every 3000 miles. I use top of the line injector cleaner at least ever 8 or 10 tanks. Have already replaced crank sensor, EGR valve, which is the only codes that have ever come up in the two years that I have been driving this truck. This problem of cutting out has been going on for over a year. No one can seem to figure it out!
But did you use Motorcraft filters? When was the last time your fuel filters were changed?
I'd add supplement EVERY tank. Mainly for the lubrication.
What's your FICM voltage read?
And check the harness for chaffing.
How does it start in the morning when it's cold? Smoke?
