FRAM filters??

Hey, does anyone here use FRAM oil or fuel filters?? I've been using them and just lately I've been asking a couple mechanics about them. One says there good, one says there bad.

Yes, the Fram oil filters are good to go (made by Racor). I'm not sure on the fuel filters though....

Amazon has the Fram oil filters for 11.77 each with free shipping on orders of 25 bucks or more.

I've used nothing but Fram oil filters with no problems. Use only the fuel filters from International.

CH9549 for oil only, Motorcraft, IH, Racor for the fuel and motorcraft or Donaldson for the air.

New to FTE.
I had issues with Wix and Amsoil oil filters
I just took out an Amsoil filter with about 500 miles. It was in an hour glass shape - Pinched in at the middle. Like it restricted the flow and the media flexed in due to the pressure.
I replaced it with a Wix the only filter I had left.

Today I replaced the wix with a FRAM.

I ordered 4 from the noted Amazon site - great deal. I also found a few good deals on ebay for the Ford FL 2016.

I found a few deals on the Ford fuel filters $30 with ship, and Donaldson Air filter $42 with ship

I have pictures of the 3 oil filters here

Actually, I just ordered some Mercon SP from my local dealer and saw that they have the fuel filters (white box OEM) for 30 bucks. I'm not sure if this is a special but I'm going to order some next week.

If you can get Motorcraft or IH fuel filter sets for $30.00 a set you had better get all that they will sell you and retire on them. That is a dead steal!!!

I get them EVERY DAY for $30.69 plus tax. If you are out of State (texas) you can get them for this price plus shipping.

Every once in a while Pep Boys will have Fram filters on sale, 2 for $7. I got over 20 of them about a month ago, cut a friend in on the deal, let him have 4 for $20 since I had to do some running around to get that many. I got roughly $400 worth of filters for about $75.....

I go right past an IH dealer (Coastal International in Warwick RI) every day going to work, I'll stop in tomorrow and check out what they get for fuel filters.

I didn't know anyone other than racor/rebrands were selling the fuel filters. Stocked up on the oil filters during the last pepboys 2 for 7$ deal. Got enough oil filters for at least the next year and a half.

Spence, By reading through these posts and catching some of yours, I take it you are close to or on Fort Riley. My question is, What local IH dealer?
