Previous owner did some odd attemp at installing power windows (1/2 a window works...sometimes). I would like to install manual windows back on both doors.
First I am not sure everything I would need to do this. Second, are any other years compatable with a 65???

I modified the original 65/66 regulators with electric motors but never got around to installing them - if anyone is interested in them, let me know.
Why aren't you going to put them in? I did mine with the Saturn P/W motors several years ago and they work great and simple to install.
Craigs65, If you need the window regulators, you should check into the ones that masked rider has. If he did them like mine are, they will bolt right in.
Craig, i sent you a pm. with my email and phone #. Not sure if this feature is open to you untill you post so many times. Never really did understand that but no matter. If you didn't get it, I will post my emial...

I agree with Kevin. I used the same motors with my 65 (actually came out of a 1995 Buick but the same motor) and they work great along with GM window switch. Actually I had to take then in and out twice because I am an idiot, but the good thing is I could probably do it in my sleep. Just make sure that you have the regulator all the way up when you put them back in....dont ask..........They really are easy to do and and take no special tools other than a drill and a grinder or hack saw.
Here is the way they look when finished.
Make sure that the motor is pointing forward some or it will hit the divider bar. The motor gear goes right in place of the hand crank gear.
These are Saturn front window motors. I'm sure that there are a lot of different motors that will work but when I was looking for mine, I was just looking for anything small and the gear meshed up with the regulator.
I did weld a tab on the top for the trhird bolt to mount to.
