Hey guy's if you have a TSC near you, I would get one of these! I bought mine from Lowes during Black Friday for 14.95 and love them. This is a great deal on a good light that fit's between your center console and seat if you have Capt. Chairs.
I carry two of these in my truck all the time, except they are 3 cell LED. I got one next to my seat, and one mounted on the edge of the back seat, so you open the back driver side door and it is right there.
Cant go wrong with an LED maglite, you can drop em as much as you want and they just keep working!
Nothing against your surefire, but 160 dollars is a lot to carry in your pocket every single day. I use a mini maglite 5 days a week for work, 2 AA batteries and an LED light, cant go wrong. Picked it up with a 3 cell D LED for 29 bucks on sale. Drop it 5 times a day from 10-30 ft and it always works! Cant be the construction of a maglite
As an electrician I spend a lot of time in attics and crawl spaces. I started using Surefire flashlights 10 years ago when they could be bought for $69. My present e1e lights cost me $79 each and I would be lost without them. The little mag lights are great for up close work but with my e1e I can light up a crawl space bright as day. When I am doing an estimate I can stick my head in an attic or crawl space and see every corner with the e2e, so I don't have to climb in. Plus, they are tax deductable!
When I go into a crawl space I want to know if theres any critters in there!
With the 3V battery it is not much bigger than a roll of chap stick, I always have one with me.
