ok.... from what I can tell, this truck came from Ford with a 240 and a floor shift 3 gear.... I cant find a breakdown of my steering column. LMC, Dennis Carpenter, ect, only carry ether auto columns, or three on the tree.... it has no "shift collar", it looks like one, but with no provision for a shifter.... no linkages in the column.... need to rebuild it, but cant find it nowheres.... anyone know where I can procure a microfiche, or a company that carries em (with a breakdown of parts) so I can see what I need to order....thx

No floor shift 3 speeds were available for trucks after 1950.
What a former owner did was install the aftermarket floor shift, removed the shift collar, replaced it with the C3DZ-3790-A extension that took the place of the shift collar on 4 speed trucks, passenger cars with floor mounted A/T's & M/T's.
All 1961/77 F100/350's with 4 speeds have this extension. Over 1,600,000 of these extensions were installed in 1965/66 Mustangs, as all had the shift lever on the floor. Galaxies, Falcons, Fairlanes also used this extension.
The 1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog is available on a CD from hipoparts.com / Illustration Section 35 ~ Page 8 shows all the steering column parts in an exploded view.
