Help with new trailer lights

Help with new trailer lights
I put i set of led tail lights on my trailer and the only thing i have is running lights. I have power to the wire right off the lights for the turn signals and brake lights but neither of the lights will work, what might be my issue here? Thanks

Did the lights come with the voltage resistor? You just can't install LED's without the adapter. Check the manufacturers web site to see if they also sell the hookup adapter. Lots of them now come with the resistor built into the LED case.

I assume they did since i bought it as a kit. I would think since the running lights worked that that wouldnt be the problem. I ended up hooking the ground up straight to the new cord but i saw that i needs to be grounded to the trailer, il try this and see if it works.
