Okay, so here is the scoop:
2003 F350 CC SB 6.0 diesel, 4x4. Bought it with the manumatic hubs already replaced with Warns. Driver's side lockout works fine, but the cap has corroded to the point where I can only turn the selector with a pair of pliers. I have been working the selector a few times every day and it is getting looser, but I'd rather just replace the cap. Is there anywhere that sells these, or am I going to have to replace the entire lockout? Please let me know.
Don't know whether you can replace just the cap or not, but Warn's have a lifetime warranty on all their hubs so I'd just get a new one. Super easy to change.
are they the premiums? i had premiums on my red truck and the mechanism that the cap turns on kept bending on me because i had play in the stub shaft that was beating it up. if you do have premiums i'd say disassemble it and clean and straighten things up in there as neccessary.
