EGR question...
Can you still have an EGR valve problem even though it's been disconnected for a long time? I would imagine with no power, it stays closed and therefore wouldn't be a concern. Yes?

Yes you can
But Not the problem you are having
With the EGR Valve unplugged the Fan Dont work right
Either Run the EGR Valve or Deleate the EGR Cooler but leave the EGR Valve installed and Plugged in to Keep the FAN & PCM HAPPEY
