What is this?

There is a fitting on the top of my turbo that is covered in oil.

3 questions:
- what is it?
- What does it do?
- is the oil normal?

I have a picture but I can't post attachments.

you can create a Photobucket account then upload the pics from your computer to there, then copy the image code into your post on here and the pic will show up.

Its most likely the oil inlet for the turbo.

The magic number must be 50! There is a post minimum that you need to reach before you can attach pictures, I thought it was 25 I guess it is 50?!?. Bdue, you are at 37 (there is a number to the far right of your name, when you post) Blast out 13 more and you'll be good to go. (Post over and over how pretty Joes truck is!!!)

OK - here is the pic link http://i1263.photobucket.com/albums/...725_183808.jpg

Another question I have - is the actuator the red tube connected to the waste gate actuator? Should I be able to move it either with the truck running or off?

So I am assuming the item on the end of 't' with the wire on it is for the oil pressure light?

The red tube is the boost tube to the waste gate actuator. When the boost gets to what the actuator is set for, the boost will open the waste gate to prevent overboosting.
You are correct the oil pressure sender is on the T.
