I have been searching the forums without any luck. I just recently bought
a 99 f250 psd and it did not come with A/C from the factory. Does anyone have a diagram of the wiring and a parts list? It is hot up here in NJ and I would really like some cold air. I know bought4less has a kit but its close to $1300 dollars and i am on a budget and would like to source the parts separately and hopefully save some money. Any and all help is appreciated!
It would seem to me this would be a fairly standard question, I'm sad to see this guy got no love on his question. I have a 2000 PSD and want to do the same thing... Someone help!!!
In addition to the parts needed the vehicle itself would have to have been built to accommodate the A/C system. Its entirely possible an add-on kit would be the answer but if the necessary wiring harness connectors aren't present you're in for a ton of unanticipated work.
As a first step I'd get an EVTM or similar schematic and begin looking for the connector ends on your truck.
