Can someone breakdown this spring code

I searched this forum but could not find what I was looking for, so I am sorry if this has been discussed here before. I am in the process of buying a 2001 F-350 crew cab 4x4 7.3, the spring code is UB, just curious how many leafs are in the back, also would it have a overload? The truck isnt local to me, I plan on making the trip and drive it home.

You would be looking for a code like 11. A "UB" code usually signifies IRS or such billing problems.Ford F250, F350 (except Super Duty) Spring Codes

Check out post #3 from the tech folder which contains the spring codes. The code you listed isn't in those on post #3.

Here is another link to the 2001 Ford Body Builders Guide. Although it doesn't have the spring codes in it, it does have some very good information regarding the truck specs for 2001.
