No Regen Indicator

I have read several threads related to regen messages. I have never seen a regen message on the dash so far after 2800+ miles. Am is missing something???

It only shows for a second. I've seen mine twice in 6500 miles.

The "Cleaning Exhaust Filter" message just flashes on the screen for a few seconds. Only once did mine stay on for the length of the cycle which was about 20 min.

One way to monitor for regen activity is to watch your instant fuel milege display (if your truck has one). You will see the fuel economy drop during regen and then go back up when the regen is completed.

Another way is with an Edge Insight CTS but you will be constantly watching the soot numbers rise

If your driving habits are the same then you may be able to predict a regen. If I make the same trip not towing I know within a few miles when a regen will start. Yeah, I watch my dash alot because I keep a log of my regens.

I've only seen mine a couple times, of course it's always when I am about to pull in the driveway. I wish Ford would put it in their next computer upgrade for the message to stay on until I remove it or have the truck ding at me and let the message stay on a little longer so I can read it.
