I would wait for the Ford Techs to come online a little later. They may have a better idea as high oil pressure on the HPO side is an odd problem. What I'm thinking is the IPR valve is closed or partially closed for some reason. I's an actuator, so it could be stuck or there could be an electrical reason (simply a bad ICP). Also a possibility is a blockage somewhere in the HPOP system.

Is it a bad idea to drive? Like I said I just came off a 850 mile trip.

Anybody?
All I can add is Modus seems to work well on our trucks so I wouldn't suspect it right away. I do think the pressure is probably not that high and the ICP or the wiring pigtail for it is bad.

I had the dealer diesel tech run a test with the dealer computer.. He said the egr valve is not in the range of the computer. He said that a egr that wasnt fully functioning would make the truck have a bucking/jerking sensation in overdrive. The only other thing was a exhaust back pressure sensor was out. He told me it was located under the degausssing bottle or on top of the motor. All the rest checked out right.

Exactly what they told me and replaced under warranty but it did not fix the problem. Perhaps you will luck out and it works for you.
