Well, I think my alignment guy checked all that but I could check again. They seem fairly tight but how do you exactly check them? Channel Locks and squeeze?

ilateapex, do you know the diameter of your drive shaft yoke? It looks like the C-6, E4OD, 4R100 all share a common tail bushing of 1.690" I.D. If thats the right size you can look it up for any one of those applications. I think the teflon coated bushing is the way to go, #36066T. However they also list a larger, 1.890 I.D bushing for Super Duty applications, probably not for vans, but just crawl under with a caliper and measure the yoke diameter to make sure you are getting the right one.

I could measure the diameter of the drive shaft yoke if needed. Does the bushing ID equal the OD of the yoke shaft? I opened the box the removal and install tool came in and measured it's diameter. It was 2.007 for what would equal the ID of the bushing. The removal tool basically snaps into the bushing with teeth/clips on the end of fingers and then a bolt is tightened onto the output shaft to remove. The install tool is basically a driver and I looks like the bushing slides onto it and then rests on a ledge and is driven in. I may call the supplier listed above and ask them what they know.

Yes, the bushing ID., will be just slightly larger than the yoke OD. Probably just a few thousandths bigger. Before the bushing is installed it should easily slide over the yoke, with a bit of play. A bushing is compressed slightly when installed, a couple thou. or it would slide right out again. So after installation the yoke should slide into the bushing with no drag, and very little side play. If you end up with a little drag on the bushing, it is common to "seat " the bushing by tapping on the yoke with a small hammer, while inserted into the bushing, to reduce any high spots in the bushing.

I would like to know what the yoke measurement is on your Torqueshift (5R110W), since after speaking with my trans parts supplier today, he was unable to give me the size of the bushing or provide one for that matter, the catalog does not list it individually, he could offer only a complete 5R110W bushing kit.

I ordered the bushing from WIT Transmission as linked above. It was not listed on their website. The guy on the phone indicated that it was 2.09" ID which matches with my 2.07" measurement of my tools. I have not measured the yoke but will to make sure everything is good before I remove the old bushing.
