Well, like the title said, I kept setting the cps code, 0344, even after changing to my new sensor. Also last time I drove it to the track, it bucked real hard once, throwing no other codes. So, this morning I pulled the wiring leading to it. A few chafing marks on the brown wire, I'll put a pic up, kind of hard to see in it, but they are there.
I cut all three of them right behind the plug and at the main harness. Then I soldered in new larger gauge wires and put new heat shrink, elec. tape, and loom to cover them. Didn't drive it except out of the ac part of the shed to one of the cold (or hot as the case may be) storage sides. Hopefully that takes care of my code.
I guess all I'm saying is make sure you check your wiring to the cps if you are having issues. I know its been mentioned before, just passing along my experience.
