Odometer
I have a question about the odometer on a 2001 F-150 (my Dad's truck). Occasionally the odometer screen will go blank. Everything else in the dash works fine. Several days later it will decide to work again. (The mileage still accumulates while the display is off) The truck has about 150,000 miles on it and has been doing this for quite some time. Any ideas on what is wrong?

there is a solder joint on the back of the board that has been cold soldered.
