Odometer ran amuck
My truck is a 93 ranger, noticed that the odometer (total mileage counter) is running so fast, just like the trip counter, so am filing up a ;ot of mileage for a couple of miles travelled, how can i resolved this problem. One thing to note is I believe am having transmission problem, slipping problems, that is. Anyone with the same experience.

My '96 ranger has a related problem. The odometer starts and stops erratically. It looks like a conventional mechanical odometer. Some tell me it is electronic. Does anyone know how to get to it to service it? The speedometer works okay.
