Front drive only?

It's normal for the front end to hop around corners a little. I've driven a truck with 40" swampers for a week with front wheel drive. It was 20 miles one way to work. I wore out the front u-joints in that week, but there's no issues with driving it like that. Your truck is fine. A parts truck I just scrapped only had a front shaft. The guy was driving it like that for 3 months. He too, wore out the front u-joints. Just moving it around the yard a few times won't hurt anything.
