on my 92 f150 xlt, my driver side window wont roll down, i can roll down both the passenger side and driver side from the driver door and the passenger window works and i can lock and unlock the doors but still the drivers window wont go down. i replaced the switch for it but that didnt do anything i also checked the fuse and thats fine. so im wondering if i need a new power window motor, does anyone else know what it could be and if it is the motor how much will that cost me?? thanks

Pull the door panel and disconnect the motor connector below the speaker - it's a 2-wire connector with a Red & a Yellow. Ground one (either) and put power (maybe from the cigar lighter or one of the hot wires at the switches) to the other. If the motor doesn't respond, reverse them. If it goes up & down every time like that, then the problem is in the switch or the wiring. If it works intermittently or not at all, you need a motor. They're ~$80 reman or ~$30 used (junkyards).
