well you didn't mention it here but in one of your earlier posts I see that you have the 4.6L so you are good. No issues on the 4.6 2V, only the 5.4L 3V and the 4.6L 3V(which they put in the explorers and mountaineers 06+). So you got regular old plugs, with a coil pack on top.

I had a problem with a plug in my 4.6 which is in a F150. Blew it out and tried to retap and put in an insert (about $200.00 a plug) but that didn't hold. I am now questioning the ability of my mechanic. But, I figured it would just keep happening and decided to replace the engine. I had found a low mileage at a really good price. Whole job was $2000.00
