2004 4.6

Do I have the 2v or 3v engine! Do I need to worry about the spark plug issue everyone talks about?

2v, and no you dont have to worry about the spark plugs. i also have a 2004 4.6, i had my plugs changed at the dealership last year for right around $160 parts and labor.
