c6 needs help..

c6 needs help..

The c6 in my 79 f150 doesnt seem to shift all the way into gear. If shifted into drive, it will move but barely. Is this a problem with the clutches in my transmission, or something to do with vaccum pressure? Also if someone has a forum or diagram of some sort to direct me to, to help my understanding on how a c6 transmission works would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked the fluid level? Might be part of it

fluid level was a good start. one thing i did notice, is that my transmission has got a bad leak. i serviced it in december, it was was more then a quart low today.
