Ac install question 69' f100

Ac install question 69' f100
I have an hot rod air elite series special that was partially installed when I bought my truck. I have been reading through the installation directions and it says to cut holes in firewall then fill holes and insulate. I would have thought there would be some kind of template plate that came with it to help mark the holes but I don't see one or can't read one in the directions. Did anyone use or know of some type of template or do you just take it real slow and mark all the holes by hand? I'm going to call hot rod air tomorrow but I was wondering what u guys thought.
