Unsure of holes in firewall

Hey guys! I have a 1971 f100 no AC and manual brakes. I purchased this truck a long time ago and had these holes in the firewall that were taped off when I received it. I tried to do research and cannot figure out what exactly was there or even maybe ran through there....any ideas?? Thx!

thegbobs Welcome to and the Bumpside Forum.

I saw an image just yesterday on here, and if recall is correct there were AC hoses going through holes just like that. So I'd say they are factory holes, what they were used for in the last 50 years is anybody's guess.

If the holes are of typical diameter (1-, 1.25-inch) install some OEM rubber plugs.

My 72 had AC, the holes are in the same spot. AC it is.
Just to the right of the brake booster mount.

Like HIO said, just install some plastic plugs in any holes you don't use.
