Does anyone know where I can find a pair of Perches for a big block 460? Not sure where I can find them. Thanks
Please, when asking questions, list all the pertinent info: Year, series, engine size, 2WD or 4WD and etc.
Your "About Me" profile says 1978 F150.
If you're looking for 460 4WD, you'll have to buy the engine mounting parts aftermarket. Ford didn't offer the 460 with 4WD or a M/T until 1983, and these parts will not work on anything prior to 1980.
1968/78 Passenger Car 460 & 1975/96 Econoline 460 engine mounting parts will not work on any year F100/350.
And, 1973/79 4WD's do not use perches, because there is no engine crossmember to bolt them to. The engine supports bolt to the inner frame rails.
1973/79 F100/350 460 2WD:
D3TZ-6028-A Right & D3TZ-6029-A Left .. Engine Supports aka perches, stands, towers.
D3TZ-6030-A Right & D3TZ-6031-A Left .. Brackets-These bolt to the block, the rubber insulators bolt to these, then to the supports.
