66 dash chrome
I did not take the padded dash out of my 66 f 100, I have lost the trim that goes against the windshield. can it be replaced later or will it have to be in before the windshield ?

Mouldings mount on leading edge of padded dash at windshield, not on face of dash.

You can place the trim strip in after windshield is installed. Most I've seen run without the chrome trim piece installed with a padded dash. Looks nice with it; gives it a more clean look.
I even put the trim peice back in my 65 cc without replacing the padded dash and just ran a smooth painted metal dash.
