I got pepper sprayed today as part of some Coast Guard boarding team training. That stuff hurts like he$# . Has anyone else been sprayed, either by accident or intentionally? If so share your expierience.
Yeah, that is like what the air force uses in the gas chambers, we normally have to go through it once a year for training on gas makss, if you do it right and your mask don't leak, you are just fine, if not, you are S.O.L., my mask leaked...taht sucks
A few years ago my girlfriend at the time got mad and sprayed me. It was from one of those little cannisters on a key chain,I was about 6 or 7 ft away but it still hit me in the arm and the side of the face. Let me tell you jrs_big_ford_f150 aint lying i thought i was going to be blind in one eye as well as my arm burning off.
As an instructor of such things, I have to be sprayed for certification. I carry OC in LEO sizes complete with the neutralizing wipes. OC works well - the wipes don't do too good.
My dad had to spray one of our bull cows once 'cause it started to come after him. The bull's eye practically turned inside out and he was on the ground. Funny stuff to watch!! haha, and my dad was messin around above the refridgerator one day and accidently pushed the button just a little. Unfortunately my mom was upstairs in the bathroom, which has a exhaust fan, and it got sucked all the way upstairs and underneath the door. She was hangin out the window for awhile, the cat even got a whiff.

As a regular venturer in the woods I normally carry bear spray. I usually keep it in its holster right next to my S&W 629 .44 Mag. One day i shed my pack to take a digger behind a bush. I apparently made quite a racket and when I came out some guy sprayed me with that stuff. He at least stuck around long enough for the pain to go away. After flushing my eyes for about 30 minutes my vision was just starting to come back. I told him wha I thought. He should have made positive identificaion before using it. Then he made jokes about it and I told him to kindly leave or I would shoot him, he still hand his thumb on the trigger adn the safety clip off. He left, and I found an apology on my windshield when I got back to the trailhead. I was so mad.
