If there are any problems with them you tink they can fix email me I have connections.....a have a few friends work for them in Miami.
Am I the only one that has no idea what this means??? It's really not that important to the thread
Also an instructor and user of OC.
We have a nice new tool at work that we have used on occasion. Take a look at it at http://www.pepperball.com/applications/uselist.asp#
It's an awesome piece of equipment when used properly
I got pepper sprayed in Jounior high twice one because I was watching a fight and once because I was fighting. Hurt like heck, never did tell my parents and neither did the school.
Been both peppered and Tear gassed. The tear gas is worse. I was working on room clearing techniques today with my team and someone idiot had used gas in the training area. Some powder was still there. So I got gassed today. Not fun .
I am in the U. S. Army, and I am a Military Police. we are required to get sprayed for certification, and we also have to go to the CS Gas Chamber annually. They both hurt like hell, but Pepper Spray is the worst. I would rather just shoot someone with a 9mm than risk the wind blowing it back at me.
We were playing video games at my brother's friend's condo, and he was showing this other guy his riot can of tear gas he had bought (don't ask me why, this guy was a wierdo). Anyway, the kid accidentally set it off, between us and the door, and we had to flee onto the itty-bitty 4th floor balcony. We all got gassed pretty good. So we sat on that patio in the rain for 3 hours until we could get in to grab our stuff and leave.
Halfway through the wait, the guy's girlfriend showed up, walked in, and promptly fell to the floor. He had to go in and pull her outside.
And the worst part: all the beer was in the fridge. My brother braved the fumes to grab us a 12 pack, but that was little consolation.

Yep, got sprayed one time... trying to break up a bar fight. My pal and some guy he was playing pool with got into it, the other guy threw a punch, and I went to pull him off my friend. Then the guy's wife whips out the pepper spray and blasts the whole lot of us (me, her husband, my pal, and the bouncer who was trying to break it up). Did'nt get the full blast.... most of the stuff hit her husband square in the face and I was behind him, but I got enough of it to decide I did'nt like it. Her hubby REALLY hated it, believe me! She left the bar without him that night, and judging by what the guy was screaming that he was going to do to her , probably did'nt head home for a few days.
All in all, it was one of your basic "courage in a bottle" things. The guy and my friend and I had no hard feelings toward each other, although me and my pal steer clear of his wife, and we NEVER play pool with them anymore.
My wife has been sprayed as training for auxilary RCMP, burns like big time in the eyes. Also again when she went to shower, the was some in her hair and when she showered it was down into her face again...haha.
Now she gets to do the spraying at people that are.....shall we say......hard of hearing. It drops some, but there are some mean drunks that it doesn't slow down.
Originally posted by alanscott I have noticed several references to "Being Sprayed" as part of training, or getting certified. Can someone explain the theory behind this?
I have never heard of anyone being shot (on purpose) as any part of firearms training.
We all got to experience tear gas when I went through Navy boot camp in 1976. We went into a chamber, donned gas masks, then the instructor set off the gas. No problem with the gas while wearing the mask. Of course, we were then instructed to remove the mask and recite the general orders BEFORE we could leave the chamber. Many of the guys, when they got outside would rub their eyes and that made it a lot worse. I put my hands in my pockets until the burning stopped. It was so we could have some knowledge of what to expect if we ever got into a situation where the 'enemy' used gas.
