fuel pedal position sensor
2000 excursion 7.3
I bought the truck used and it was surging quite a bit, this was 5 years ago. After taking it to a not so good mechanic I discovered on this site the problem. It was the fuel pedal position sensor. I replaced it and was trouble free for 2 years. It started doing the sme thing a month ago so I replaced it. No codes were thrown then. Last noght I lost the pedal response for a while then it came back and I was able to get it home. I got a check engine light. OBD scanner threw a P0221 code.
other inofrmation says Throttle/pedal position switch B circuit range/ performance.
Any ideas on what is happening here fellas?
